Overexcited Recaptures is a sonic walkthrough of a room rerecorded into itself. Sounds generated by and particular to the exhibition space are gathered and repeatedly reproduced to generate a gradually changing, rich and resonant acoustic body. Reflective and absorptive surfaces can also be introduced into the installation to spatially displace the architecture of the gallery and turn it into a polymorphous acoustic mirror.
